I just read a great article on reducing computer eye strain. After reading this I found that both of my monitors that I stare at for hours on end were set to a brightness of 100 out of 100. I just turned them both down to 50 and it's much easier on my eyes right away.
Here's the full article if you're interested:

One of the big takeaways that will be hard for me to do is that you should take a 20 minute break every 20 minutes and look at something at least 20 feet away. At least I know what I should be doing.

PC vs Mac
Since I get asked all of the time what I would recommend, I thought I'd post this good article that breaks it down very basically. I'm still a PC.

Good morning everyone. I wanted to let you know of a good friend and business partner of mine that has a great data recovery company called Data Recovery Link.
They are based in the Denver Tech Center and are very good at what they do and responsive. Here is their latest newsletter in case you need their help. I can't recommend them high enough. ~ Nick

Hi,
Whether you are getting the "blue screen of death", a "NTLDR Error" or a "Flashing Question Mark" this is the moment you realize that your drive has failed! Who do you turn to? Hopefully, you have a trusted IT resource who can help you determine if your hard drive is really having problems or not. If it is your hard drive and you don't have that data backed up (I know, I know, your data is backed up) who do you turn to?
Data Recovery Link is the oldest data recovery firm in the Denver Metro area. We can recover data from any kind of drive you might have. Our tech's have more experience recovering data than anyone around. We strive to provide excellent customer service and top notch recoveries at a fair price.
We have created a check list of questions to ask any company that you are considering using to recover your data. Click here to download those important questions.
Hard drive failures don't happen every day. Statistically, you will only experience it once or twice in your lifetime. When it does happen, call Data Recovery Link. We will give you an honest assessment of the recoverability and a fair cost.
Sincerely,
Randy Smail
